Thursday, August 24th: Angelina

Something followed us home from Granada...well, it didn't follow us, it used me as a vessel, and tore at me from the inside.

Whatever the virus was it left me crippled in a sweaty, feverish heap on the bed all day coming in and out of consciousness.

Angelina was exactly that, a little angel. She did everything she could to help me get better; she never left my side.

We went to the hospital but the bureaucracy and the need for cash scared us away.

It got worse in the middle of the night. We grabbed our cash and went to the emergency room at 4am.

errrrrr, thanks Sam, for your concern...I think the Dr was so annoyed to be awoken by Americans in the middle of the night. All she cared is whether or not I would die on her soil; after that should couldn't care less
